I am returning "home" again this year and will be performing a few original songs at Liberty State Park (1:30 p.m.), Brooklyn Bridge Park (5 p.m.) and Sheepshead Bay- Bill Brown Park- Bedford and Avenue X (7 p.m.) with special guest Krysta White.
EMPTY SKY: New Jersey’s September 11th Memorial
As we approach the 8th anniversary of the attacks of September 11th, 2001, we would like to invite you to a reception at the site of the State of New Jersey’s September 11th Memorial in Liberty State Park, New Jersey. The event will begin at 1:30 pm inside the Railroad Terminal adjacent to the memorial site. There will be music, light refreshments and opening remarks. We are pleased to announce that Phase 2 construction of the memorial, including the amphitheatre sloped towards Ground Zero, has been completed. The grounds of the memorial site will be open to the public on September 11th. This will mark the first time we have had a gathering of family and friends of the memorial since the groundbreaking in 2004. September 11th Memorial Sing
BAC Folk Arts presents its annual September 11th Memorial project, which this year features performances of original songs about the events of September 11th and its aftermath. A selection of songs submitted through our open call will be performed live for the public on the anniversary from 5 - 7:30pm in Empire Fulton Ferry State Park in DUMBO, Brooklyn. Bring a blanket or chair(s), light fare, and spend the early evening with us in the park.
DIRECTIONS A/C to High St., F to York St., or 2/3 to Clark St. The entrance to Empire Fulton Ferry Sate Park is at the end of Main St., take a left onto the park path.
Event takes place on the grassy area across from the Tobacco Warehouse, facing the water.

Sheepshead Bay 9/11 memorial and candlelight vigil
A 9/11 Memorial and Candlelight Vigil will be held at the Bill Brown Park at Bedford Avenue and Avenue X to honor all those who lost their lives on that tragic day.
